1. A street light near our house is burned out, who do I call ?

The City of Charlotte at 704-336-3893. Then tie a ribbon or a old grocery bag around it to make sure they know which light is the correct one.

  2. My neighbors habitually leave their trash can out after the pickup. What can I do about it?

The best thing you can do is call 311 and report it. The city enforces all trash related issues not the HOA.

  3. I want to get more involved in the neighborhood, what can I do ?

Join the Community forum, talk to your Board of Directors or become a Street Captain.

  4. I've heard there are over 20 sets of CCRs, how do I get a copy of mine ?

Your Realtor should have given you a set at closing. All of the CCRs can be obtained from your management company for $5, or download an online copy free at this website under "Documents".

  5. What do I need to do if I want to have a yard sale ?

First, you MUST get a permit from the city, they issue the permits and limit them to 4, per house, per year. Call 311 and you can get an application. The HOA allows you to put up "Yard Sale" signs on Friday afternoon and they should be taken down by Saturday night.

  6. I want to make an improvement to my property, how do I go about it ?

According to our CCR's you must fill out an ARC form for any improvement to your home or lot. Your ARC Committee then has 30 days to respond or your application is approved by default. If you start (or finish) your project without a filled out ARC form the Board is required by the CCR's to force you to take down your project, don't let that happen. Fill out an ARC form today.
